WCAG Accessibility Scanner & Monitor

AccessRadar - WCAG Accessibility Scanner & Monitor

Overlay vendors sell a script that patches your site after it loads and calls that "automated compliance." The FTC fined the biggest one $1 million for exactly that claim in April 2025. AccessRadar does the opposite: it crawls up to 25 pages of your live site, tests the actual HTML against WCAG 2.2 AA with the same axe-core engine used in our paid audits, and shows you the trend over time so you can prove things are actually getting fixed.

We are not an overlay. We never will be.

Overlay widgets run a script after your page loads and try to patch what screen readers already parsed from the raw HTML. Courts have repeatedly declined to treat overlay installation as evidence of good-faith compliance, and more than 800 businesses running the leading overlay were sued anyway in 2023-2024.

AccessRadar finds real problems in your real markup - missing alt text, keyboard traps, broken form labels, low-contrast text, missing ARIA - the same defects that show up in an ADA Title III complaint. Every finding cites the exact WCAG success criterion, the affected element, and a plain-language explanation of why it fails. Nothing is auto-injected into your live site. There is no fake "AI fixes everything" widget here. You see the evidence, you or your dev team fix the source, and the next scan proves it.

Three steps, five minutes to your first scan.

  1. 1. Create a free account and add your site. No card required - just your site's URL.
  2. 2. Run your first scan. AccessRadar crawls up to 25 pages and tests each one against WCAG 2.2 AA in real time.
  3. 3. See your findings and trend. Every issue is grouped by severity and WCAG success criterion. Scan again later and the trend chart shows whether you're actually improving.

Priced against the overlay vendors, built like a real audit.

Below UserWay's paid entry point and AudioEye's floor - with real code-level findings and monitoring, never a widget.

Questions we get about AccessRadar.

Is AccessRadar an accessibility overlay like accessiBe or UserWay?

No. AccessRadar never injects a runtime script into your live site and makes no claim to "automatically fix" accessibility. It crawls your real pages and tests the real HTML with axe-core, the same engine we use in our paid manual audits, and shows you exactly what fails and why. The FTC fined accessiBe $1 million in April 2025 for claiming its overlay could "automatically comply" with WCAG - that is precisely the claim we refuse to make.

Why not just install an overlay - isn't that faster?

Overlay JavaScript runs after your page has already loaded, but screen readers build their accessibility tree from the HTML as it loads - so the widget is often invisible to the exact users it claims to help. Courts have repeatedly declined to treat overlay installation as evidence of good-faith compliance, and more than 800 businesses running the leading overlay were sued anyway in 2023-2024.

How many pages does a scan cover?

AccessRadar crawls up to 25 pages per scan, starting from your homepage and following same-domain links automatically - not just the homepage.

How often can I scan on the Free plan?

Free accounts get 1 scan every 24 hours, up to 25 pages, at no cost. Starter, Pro, and Agency plans unlock scheduled scans, more sites, and more frequent runs.

What happens to my data?

Your account, sites, and scan history are stored in our own managed database. We never share your findings, and nothing we do modifies your live site - every scan is read-only.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes - every account can upgrade at any time from the dashboard. Self-serve card checkout is landing shortly; until then an upgrade request is handled by email within one business day at the same price.
